About the Designer
I am a recent graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Human-Centered Computing and a proud alumna of Girls Who Code and Women in Computing.
My passion for digital design began with my first Tumblr account. Frustrated by the constraints of existing blog layouts, I took the initiative to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create custom designs. What started as a personal endeavor soon grew into a community initiative, as I shared my designs with fellow bloggers. This experience solidified my interest in design, inspiring me to pursue it as a career.
I’ve honed my skills as a UX/UI web developer at Markley, where I gained hands-on experience in creating user-focused designs and impactful solutions. My superpower lies in bringing structure to ambiguity—I thrive on clarifying complex problems and crafting solutions that are intuitive and easy to navigate.
With a background in front-end development, I have a deep understanding of software systems and their limitations. This expertise, combined with tools like Figma, user research, and programming languages, allows me to seamlessly bridge the gap between design and development.
